What is occult herbalism?
Occult means “hidden” or “obscure” and occult herbalism is the study and experience of the hidden properties of plants and fungi. All plants have special characteristics and talents beyond their medicinal capability, and we can choose to work with those plants who are aligned with our intentions for magic, ritual and healing.
The Poison Path
The study of poisonous and psychoactive plants, through their history, ethnobotany and phytochemistry to come to a deeper understanding of their spiritual roles. These plants are capable of altering consciousness, creating powerful medicine and sometimes causing death. It is for these reasons that they have had a significant impact on human history and evolution.

When approached from a place of respect and knowledge, our “baneful” allies have so much that they can teach us. There are many safe and effective ways to incorporate these powerful plants into ritual, meditation and divination and my passion is sharing my experiences doing exactly that!
